50-Hour Accessible Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training

 Deepen your practice.

Begin your path to teaching.

In this training, you’ll explore how to adapt yoga postures with variations and props, incorporate chair-based practices, and use trauma-informed language that empowers rather than corrects.

The meditation portion of the training is equally accessible, providing approaches that are practical, grounding, and effective for everyone.

Who is this training for?

This training is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of yoga and meditation, or begin teaching in accessible, inclusive ways. It’s especially great for:

  • Caregivers supporting others in daily wellness

  • Social workers and therapists looking to integrate mindfulness and movement into their work

  • Hospital or healthcare staff seeking safe, adaptable tools for patients

  • Small group or community instructors wanting to make yoga accessible to all abilities

  • Teachers looking to integrate practical yoga & meditation tools into classrooms

Whether you’re exploring teaching, enhancing your professional toolkit, or simply deepening your personal practice, this training offers practical & applicable skills for today’s world.

Can I teach yoga after the training?

Yes!

Upon completion, you’ll receive a 50 hour certificate, which allows you to teach yoga in certain settings such as small private groups, friends, family, or community classes.

However, many gyms, studios, and professional settings require a 200 hour certification to teach. The 50 hour training is a complete and valuable foundation, but the full 200 hour training provides the additional depth, confidence, and credentials needed to teach in most professional environments.

Think of the 50 hour training as a stepping stone: it gives you the skills to teach right away, while also allowing you to bank your hours toward a full 200 hour certification if you choose.

Why Take a 50-Hour Introductory Training?

The 50-hour training is a meaningful first step. This is appropriate for anyone curious about teaching or looking to deepen their yoga and meditation practice.

  • Try it before committing: Experience Salt of the Earth Yoga’s approach without jumping straight into the full 200 hour program.

  • Practical, accessible skills: Learn variations, chair based practices, trauma informed language, and meditation techniques you can use immediately.

  • Harvest of awareness: Fall is a time of gathering wisdom from the year. Beginning training now helps you harvest your own inner insights and carry them forward into winter’s deeper self-reflection.

  • A stepping stone to certification: If you choose to continue, your 50 hours count toward the full 200 hour training.

  • Focused, supportive learning: Small group size allows for individualized attention and deeper integration of material. Limited to 6 participants.
